About the IJAA (International Jewelry Artisans Association)

What is IJAA

The International Jewelry Artisans Association (IJAA) is a non-profit and non-governmental (NGO) professional association, established on the private initiative of Artyom Rudolfovich Balyan and approved by the international professional community to support, recognize, and develop specialists in the jewelry industry.

The foundation of the Association is professional solidarity, not state or commercial interests. Although the organization itself does not pursue commercial goals, its members may use membership for professional collaboration, finding commissions, and project implementation.

Key principles of the Association:

  • Non-governmental and non-profit status: IJAA exists without commercial purposes, state funding, or membership fees.

  • Professional focus: The main goal is to promote the professional growth of members, the development of jewelry arts, and the strengthening of international professional and cultural connections.

  • Verification and transparency: Trust within the community is ensured through a recommendation system. Each candidate is confirmed by a guarantor from among the current IJAA members who is personally familiar with the candidate’s professional activity. The status and qualifications of members are publicly verifiable in the electronic registry.

IJAA unites professionals from various countries, including:

  • Jewelers and craftsmen

  • Designers and artists

  • Manufacturers of jewelry, tools, and materials

  • Jewelry sellers

  • Multi-skilled specialists

Thus, IJAA represents a global professional network of mutual support, created for experience exchange, finding business partners, implementing professional projects, and enhancing the reputation of members worldwide.
