The International Jewelry Artisans Association (IJAA) confirms the professional achievements and recognition of specialists in the jewelry industry. The certificate is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a high level of craftsmanship, professional authority, or contribution to the development of the industry.
Categories of Members:
1. Master Jewelers
They create original jewelry pieces and demonstrate high quality of work.
2. Manufacturers of Tools, Equipment, and Materials
They provide professional precision, reliability, and industry development. They produce tools, equipment, molds, stones, alloys, and other materials necessary for jewelry production.
3. Sellers of tools, equipment, materials, and precious metals
They not only sell, but also provide professional support, consultations, training, and assistance to jewelers and workshops.
4. Manufacturers of jewelry
They create pieces for clients and the market, confirming professional quality and originality.
5. Universal specialists
They combine several roles from the above categories (for example, a craftsman and a producer of tools, or a jewelry manufacturer and a seller of materials).
6. Jewelry Merchants (Wholesale and Retail)
They facilitate the distribution and sale of finished jewelry pieces to individual clients and organizations. They ensure the availability of jewelry in the market, contribute to shaping consumer culture, and uphold the professional recognition of the quality and craftsmanship of jewelry creations.
Key Criteria for Awarding:
Verified professional experience (at least 5 years).
Portfolio of significant works, projects, productions, or supplies recognized by the professional community.
Victories or participation in international competitions and exhibitions.
Publications in industry media.
Recommendations from two IJAA members or one Guarantor.
Certification Awarding Process:
1. Submission of application and portfolio.
2. Initial review by a Guarantor or a Council Member.
3. Evaluation of achievements and experience.
4. Voting by the Association Council.
5. Probationary period of 6 months before official confirmation.
Categories and Qualification Levels:
- Each member is assigned a category and qualification level depending on their role and professional merits.-
- This data is recorded exclusively on the official IJAA website and is available for verification through a QR code on the certificate or through the member’s unique identification number (ID).
- Through a unique four-digit sequential number under the code of the country where the registration took place, anyone can verify the current status of association membership.
- The paper certificate does not contain information about the category or level in order to eliminate the possibility of forgery.
Voluntariness and Non-Commercial Basis
Membership and recognition in IJAA are completely voluntary. The Association does not pursue commercial purposes, and admission is possible exclusively for real merits and contributions to the industry. There are no financial conditions for participation; the evaluation of a candidate is based solely on professionalism, reputation, and authority. The Association was created as an ideological initiative, whose initiator and inspirer is the President of IJAA, Artyom Rudolfovich Balyan.
Recognition and Authority
Membership in IJAA reflects real professional recognition, confirmed by market demand, completed projects, and evaluations from clients and colleagues. The certificate is awarded for real merits and contributions to the industry, not formally or automatically.
